Feed Production Line

Feed pellet production line is a kind of production equipment specially used to process feed into pellets, which mainly includes multiple devices such as feeding system, grinding system, mixing system, tablet pressing system, cooling system, screening system and packaging system. These devices work together to ensure that the feed is processed into pellets that meet the needs of animal husbandry.

Main equipment:

1. Crushing equipment: hammer mill is the most commonly used, with the characteristics of high crushing efficiency and strong adaptability. In addition, there are water drop crushers, etc., which are suitable for different raw materials and production needs.

2. Batching and mixing equipment: Batching equipment includes electronic batching scales, automatic batching systems, etc., which can accurately control the proportion of various raw materials. Common mixing equipment includes vertical mixers, horizontal mixers, etc., which have the advantages of high mixing uniformity and no residue.

3. Granulating equipment: mainly ring die pellet machine and flat die pellet machine. Ring die pellet machine has high production efficiency and good pellet quality, which is suitable for large-scale production; flat die pellet machine has a simple structure and low price, which is suitable for small farms or feed processing points.

4. Cooling and drying equipment: countercurrent cooler is the mainstream cooling equipment with good cooling effect and low energy consumption. Drying equipment is generally used in special circumstances, such as high humidity raw materials or when the moisture content needs to be further reduced. Commonly used ones include countercurrent coolers, etc.

5. Screening and packaging equipment: Vibrating screens are used to screen pellet feeds, and screens of different mesh sizes can be selected according to needs. Packaging equipment includes feed packaging machines, etc., which can achieve fast and accurate packaging of feeds.

Technical parameters:

1. Production capacity: Generally, the hourly production capacity of a small feed pellet production line is about 0.5-2 tons, the medium-sized production line is 2-5 tons/hour, and the large-scale production line can reach 5-20 tons/hour or even higher.

2. Particle specifications: It can be adjusted according to the needs of different animals. The common particle diameter is between 2-10 mm. For example, poultry feed particles are generally finer, with a diameter of 2-4 mm, while the feed particles of livestock such as pigs and cattle have a diameter of 4-10 mm.

3. Power configuration: The power of the entire production line varies according to the production scale and equipment selection. The total power of a small production line is usually 10-30 kilowatts, the medium-sized production line is 30-100 kilowatts, and the large production line may exceed 100 kilowatts.

Applications:

1. Livestock and poultry farming: It is widely used in livestock and poultry farming such as pigs, chickens, cattle, and sheep. It can improve breeding efficiency, promote the growth and development of livestock and poultry, and improve meat quality.

2. Aquaculture: Various aquatic animals such as fish and shrimp have high requirements for feed. Pellet feed has good stability in water and nutrients are not easily lost. It is beneficial to the feeding and growth of aquatic animals and is the main feed form for aquaculture.
