Recently, a powdered feed processing line provided by a Chinese foreign trade company was successfully put into operation at a South African customer’s factory. The lively scene of the production line running at full speed has become the focus of the local agriculture and animal husbandry sector. This project not only marks the deep penetration of Chinese fertiliser equipment manufacturing technology into the African market, but also injects new momentum into the South African feed processing industry with its efficient and stable performance.

The entire set of equipment for this processing line was custom-designed by the Chinese team, covering core processes such as raw material crushing, mixing and blending, and quantitative packaging. It integrates intelligent control systems and energy-efficient production design. According to on-site data, the production line’s single-shift capacity can reach 80 tonnes, representing an increase of over 40% compared to local traditional equipment. Additionally, key indicators such as particle uniformity and nutrient retention rate of the finished product all exceed industry standards. The South African client’s representative stated during the acceptance inspection: ‘The stability of the Chinese equipment exceeded our expectations. In the first month of operation, it helped us reduce energy costs by 15% and shorten the order delivery cycle by nearly one-third.’

South African powdered feed processing line in operation…
From design to installation and commissioning, the Chinese technical team provided on-site services throughout the process, completing the entire production line’s commissioning in just 45 days, setting a new record for construction speed in local projects of this type. The equipment’s wear-resistant alloy materials and corrosion-resistant processes are perfectly suited to South Africa’s high-temperature, dusty operating environment, with an expected service life of over 10 years. Currently, the production line provides stable feed supply to five large-scale farms in the surrounding area, supporting the local agricultural and livestock industry’s scaled development.

As a leading enterprise specialising in fertiliser equipment exports, the company adheres to the philosophy of ‘empowering global agriculture through technology,’ providing customised solutions tailored to the climatic characteristics and raw material properties of different regions. The successful operation of this South African project once again demonstrates the competitiveness of Chinese manufacturing in the international market and lays a solid foundation for further expansion into the African agricultural and livestock equipment market.
