With the rapidly developing livestock farming industry in North Africa, feed quality has become a key breakthrough. The extruded pellet production line we customized for our Moroccan client, with its high efficiency and adaptability, has become a significant contributor to local livestock farming upgrades, demonstrating the global competitiveness of Chinese feed equipment.

The Moroccan client, primarily engaged in poultry, livestock, and aquaculture, had long faced challenges with feed mold and low animal absorption. After field research, our technical team tailored a 2-ton-per-hour extruded pellet production line. The core equipment, a twin-screw extruder, utilizes high-temperature and high-pressure treatment at 120-140°C, increasing feed maturation to over 85%. This not only kills harmful bacteria but also increases starch gelatinization by 40%, significantly enhancing animal digestion and absorption.

The unit demonstrates strong adaptability to local raw materials. Commonly used corn and soybean meal, along with specialty ingredients like fish meal and olive oil pomace, are ground to an 80-mesh fineness in a pretreatment system before being precisely blended in a mixer. The puffed pellets are rapidly cooled to room temperature in a cooling tower and then screened through a grading screen to produce pellets with sizes ranging from 3 to 8 mm, meeting the diverse feeding needs of broilers, laying hens, and tilapia. The entire system is equipped with a PLC control system and an Arabic-language user interface, enabling operators to take up the helm after minimal training, significantly reducing management costs.

Since the project’s commissioning, significant results have been achieved: the customer’s feed storage period has been extended from 30 days to 60 days, and the mold rate has been reduced to below 1%. The average daily weight gain of farmed animals has increased by 15%, and the feed-to-meat ratio has been reduced by 0.2. Based on the customer’s annual output of 100,000 broilers, annual revenue has increased by over US$200,000. After an on-site inspection, the local agricultural department designated the project a “Model Case for Efficient Farming,” prompting three surrounding farms to actively seek cooperation. From equipment installation to after-sales maintenance, we provide 24/7 response services, assisting customers in optimizing parameters in real time through a remote monitoring system. This project is not only a technical success, but also demonstrates the deep fit between Chinese equipment and the needs of the North African market, adding a vivid footnote to the global application of feed equipment.
